Michelle Lau is the heart and hands behind Acadiana Yummies. A mother of two, household CEO, and passionate baker, she knows the joy of food that feels both familiar and new. Growing up in California, Michelle fell in love with the Asian bakeries that combined creativity with comfort. Now living in Acadiana, she’s bringing that same spirit to her own kitchen — blending Asian flavors with Southern classics into playful, delicious yummies. But baking is only part of Michelle’s story.
For years, she’s shared her talents freely — baking for classrooms, donating to animal shelters, and showing up for community causes without hesitation. She believes food is one of the simplest, most powerful ways to show care.
